These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, online payment portal, and services provided by Boot Patrol, LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company ("Boot Patrol," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our website or services, or by paying for the release of an immobilized vehicle, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our website or services.
Boot Patrol, LLC provides private-property parking enforcement, vehicle immobilization ("booting"), tow coordination, and related documentation and payment services for property owners and managers. Our mailing address is 221 Skyline Drive STE 208/126, E. Stroudsburg, PA 18301. You can reach us at contact@bootpatrol.com or (570) 234-1777.
We provide enforcement services on private property under agreement with the property owner or manager and in accordance with posted signage and applicable law. Vehicles parked on a property we service without authorization, or in violation of the posted rules, may be immobilized with a wheel lock ("boot"), documented, and/or towed. Signage posted on the property describes the rules and the consequences of violating them.
We are not responsible for parking decisions made by drivers. It is the driver's responsibility to read and follow posted signs and to park only where authorized.
An immobilized vehicle will be released upon payment of the applicable fee shown at the time of enforcement and on your receipt. Fees may include a violation/enforcement fee, a boot-removal fee, and — where applicable — occupancy or additional charges. Towing and storage fees, if a vehicle is towed, are set and collected by the towing company and are separate from our fees.
Payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors (see Section 6). When you pay, you will receive a receipt and a confirmation code. Payment may be made online through our payment portal or in the field with the assistance of an agent.
By paying for the release of an immobilized vehicle, you acknowledge that the vehicle was parked in violation of posted private-property rules, that the immobilization and related fees are valid and authorized, and that services were rendered at your request for the release of the vehicle.
You agree not to dispute or initiate a chargeback for these charges without first contacting Boot Patrol, LLC to resolve the matter. Fraudulent chargebacks may be subject to additional fees, collection action, and legal enforcement where permitted by law.
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site, interfere with its operation, submit false information, use automated systems to scrape or overload the site, or use the site to harass or harm others. The staff and property-owner portals are restricted to authorized users; you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
Card payments are handled by trusted third-party processors, currently Stripe and Square. When you make a payment, your card information is transmitted directly to and handled by the processor under their security standards; we do not store your full card number. Your use of the payment feature is also subject to the applicable processor's terms and privacy policy.
The Boot Patrol name, logo, website, software platform, and content are owned by Boot Patrol, LLC or its licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse them without our written permission.
Our website and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Boot Patrol, LLC and its members, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the website or services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Boot Patrol, LLC from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the website or services.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
